Monarch Development is a general contractor serving the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex — from custom and luxury homes in Highland Park and University Park to ground-up commercial. We exist to do one thing well: deliver serious construction without the chaos the industry has taught people to expect.
Our standard
We started Monarch because too many good projects get dragged down by the same avoidable problems: vague scopes, drifting schedules, budgets that balloon once it's too late to walk away. We decided to build a firm where that doesn't happen.
Today we build custom homes, multifamily, and commercial spaces for homeowners and developers across Dallas–Fort Worth. The work ranges widely — the standard never does. We'd rather earn a reputation that compounds than chase the cheapest bid.

How we work
Most overruns are decided before a shovel hits dirt. We front-load the thinking — scope, sequencing, long-lead items — so the build runs on rails.
We hold our trades to one bar, on every job, whether it's a powder room or a four-door development. The crest doesn't go on average work.

Preston founded Monarch Development to build at a higher standard across Dallas–Fort Worth. He stays personally accountable for every project that carries the firm's name — from the first walkthrough and the budget that gets signed, to the final punch list and the handshake at the end.
